  I own a Chevy C6 Corvette. There are several reasons I take my vehicle to Bill's Auto Tech. The first thing is that they really know cars. If they can build/repair/service race cars, they can service my regular stock Corvette. Second, I trust them way more than I trust a Chevy dealer. Anyone there will give your their honest opinion and they don't try to sell you something you don't need. There are no "service advisors" who have never worked on a car. An honest, independent mechanic who is really into cars is better than a corporate run dealer service department any day of the week.
